Abstract
Objective:TO observe the effect of Huatan decoction and Huoxue decoction on oxidative stress in rat model of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease,discussing the efficacy of these two decoctions in the prevention and treatment of NAFLD.Materials and Methods: Experimental animal model of NAFLD were established,treated with Huatan,Huoxue decoctions,and compared with the control group,the model group and the treatment group in which rats were treated with insulin sensitizer-Metformin and Rosiglitazone.Test CYP450,CYP2E1 activity in hepatic tissue,and observe the change of SOD,MDA.Results: CYP450,CYP2E1 activity(P0.05) increased in model group,and SOD(P0.05) decreased,while the content of MDA(P0.05) increased.All Chinese groups(CMG) could decrease CYP2E1 activity(P0.05),while the western group(WMG) can reduce CYP450 activity(P0.05).Compared with model group,in Huatan and Huoxue groups,the SOD activity decreased obviously(P0.01),besides WMG and Huatan decoctions could reduce the content of MDA(P0.05),Huoxue group had a lower,but group difference was not significant.Conclusion: NAFLD rats had obvious oxidative stress and lipid peroxidation damage.Huatan,Huoxue decoctions can modulate the level of oxidative stress,and improve lipid peroxidation.They had precise control on the role of NAFLD.
