Abstract

Objective: To study the changes of IL-6 and IL-1β levels in the serum of acute cerebral infarction patients. Methods: By the case-control study,45 cases with acute cerebral infarction(patients group) and 40 health controls(control group) were selected, then test IL-6 with ELISA.Results:The average values of IL-1β and IL-6 were 24.8±5.1pg/ml and 23.2±8.4pg/ml in patient group;the average values of IL-1β and IL-6 were 15.0±4.6pg/ml and 17.7±9.1 pg/ml in control group. There was statistical difference between patient group and control group. Conclusion:The average values of IL-1β and IL-6 were higher in patient group than that of control group, and these elements might bring about acute cerebral infarction.
