Abstract
Objective To discuss the clinical effects of phacoemulsification combined with intraocular lens implantation in the treatment of diabetic cataract. Methods Total 158 patients(193 eyes)with diabetic cataract underwent the phacoemulsificatian combined with intraocular lens implantation. Results Postoperative visual acuity:there were 26 eyes(13.47%)ranged from 0.01 to 0.1,37 eyes(19.17%)ranged from 0.12 to 0.3 and 50 eyes(25.90%)ranged from 0.4 to 0.5,80 eyes(41.46%)reached from 0.6 to 1.0.Seven eyes peplos were rupture in operation,95 eyes were corneal bedewing postoperative, all complications were dispeared is 3-6 d after treatment. Conclusion phacoemulsification combined with intraocular lens implantation is a safe and effective clinical treatment for diabetic cataract.
