Study on effect of pantoprazole,omeprazole and famotidine on treatment of peptic ulcer

Objective:To investigate the effect of pantoprazole,omeprazole and famotidine on treatment of peptic ulcer.Methods:The patients with peptic ulcer in our hospital from January 2007 to January 2008 were divided into the pantoprazole group,omeprazole group and famotidine group,each group received the corresponding drug,and at the same time,all groups received the antisepticizing treamtent.The effect and safty of pantoprazole,omeprazole and famotidine were investigated.Results:The cases of pantoprazole group with pain disappear in the first week was 65.63% and was 1.56% in the forth week,the cases of omeprazole group with pain disappear in the first week was 67.19% and was 1.56% in the forth week,the cases of famotidine group with pain disappear in the first week was 46.88% and was 14.06% in the forth week,and there was significant difference in the pantoprazole group,omeprazole group and famotidine group(P0.05).The clearance of HP was 96.30% in pantoprazole group,94.64% in omeprazole group and 80.00% in famotidine group,and there was significant difference in the pantoprazole group,omeprazole group and famotidine group(P0.05).The total effective rate was 96.88% in pantoprazole group,96.88% in omeprazole group and 87.50% in famotidine group,and there was significant difference in the pantoprazole group,omeprazole group and famotidine group(P0.05).There was no significant difference on the side effect of the three drugs(P0.05).Conclusion:The effect of pantoprazole is same to omeprazole,the effect of pantoprazole and omeprazole is superior to famotidine,and side effect of pantoprazole and omeprazole is few,so they are worth being used widely.
