Analysis of Influencing Factors for Willingness to Participation in Agricultural Water-saving of Farmers in Hebei Province

Hebei province is of scarcity of water resources,but agricultural water using efficiency is very low.Based on the investigation data of 392 farmers in Hebei Province,a logistic model of influencing factors for willingness to participation in agricultural water-saving of farmers is established in this paper.The research result shows that the sequence of influencing factors from strong to slight is cultural level,family type,situation of groundwater,whether the farmer is a cadre,experience of going out for work,attention degree to agricultural policy,age,expect to agricultural water-saving,respectively.Then several proposals,including emphasis on human capital construction in rural areas,enhancing the propaganda of agricultural water-saving to farmers,respect the willingness of farmers,opposing indiscriminate policy,increasing support for water-saving agricultural,are put forward in the end.
