Affecting Factors Analysis for the Willingness of Farmers to Adopt Agronomic Water-saving Technology in Hebei Province

Based on the survey data in Hebei province,using Logit model,the affecting factors for the willingness of farmers to adopt agronomic water-saving technology are studied in this paper.The results show that agronomic water-saving technology extension should focus on the farmer family,in which the proportion of the crop income accounts for the total household income is higher,the area of land is larger,and the head of household has a higher education level,the proportion of labor force accounts for the total household population is higher,the household annual gross income is higher,and the head of household is male.At present,the water-saving awareness of farmers is very weak.It is urgent to strengthen the water-saving education for farmers through various means.The Government should reasonably attempt to increase agricultural water price to promote the household to save water,should reflect on its support means,methods,and intensity,should strengthen the demonstration effect of demonstration model farmers,and should make use of training sessions,the village loudspeaker broadcasts,village cadres and newspapers to disseminate water-saving information.
