Abstract

Objective To observe misoprostol for prevention of postpartum hemorrhage of cesarean section. Methods 160 cases of cesarean section were randomly divided into experimental group and control group, each of 80 cases.Experimental group intramuscular injection of fetus body temple oxytocin 20U,after the end of surgery, vaginal misoprostol dome 600μg;Control group intramuscular injection of fetus body temple oxytocin 20U,then intravenous infusion of oxytocin 20U.The postpartum hemorrhage of two groups postpartum 2h and the blood pressure before and after treatment of experimental group were observed. Results The postpartum hemorrhage of experimental group postpartum 2h was(160±23)ml lower than control group(308±56)ml,there was a significant difference(P0.05).Systolic and diastolic blood pressure of experimental group before and after treatment was not statistically different(P0.05).Conclusion Misoprostol for uterine contraction is stronger than that of oxytocin, can better prevent bleeding after cesarean section, and the drug easily and safely.
