Abstract

Objective:To study the anti-cancer drug sensitivity in cancer cells with MTT colormetric assay. Methods:primary cancer cells from 46 patients (15 gastric cancer,10 lung cancer,12 colon cancer,8 breast cancer) were examined in vitro with MTT assay to find out their drug sensitiviy to 8 routine chemotheraputic drugs. Results:Different cancer cells have different sensitivity to the same chemotherapeutic medicine and each tumor has its own drug-sensitivity table. Conclusion:MTT assay is an easy and quick method for drug sensitivity test in vitro and it provides experimental basis for individual chemotherapy.
