Abstract
Objective To study the correlation between and C-erbB-2 P53 PCNA expression in prostatic carcinoma and benign prostatic hyperplasia(BPH)as well as their clinical significance. Methods The expression of C-erbB-2,P53,PCNA proteins in sixty-nine cases of prostatic carcinoma and 20 case benign prostatic hyperplasia were detected by immunohistochemical methods. Results ① Expression rates of C-erbB-2 of and P53 in prostatic carcinoma were 56.52% and 69.56%.Both of which were not significantly higher than those in benign hyperplasia of prostatie statically;② the expression of C-erbB-2 in poor differentiation group was significantly higher than that in well differentiation group(P0.05);③ P53 expression in prostatic carcinoma has statistically significant difference;④The expression of PCNA in carcinoma tissue was significant higher than that in the benign prostatic hyperplasia tissue, the difference was significant(P0.01).The expression of PCNA increased with the increase of pathological grade and clinical grade(P0.01).There was a significant difference in survival rates between PCNA high expression group and low expression group.(P0.01).Conclusion P53 expression between different group was no statistically significant difference.High expression of C-erbB-2 and PCNA in human prostatic carcinoma might involve in the pathogenesis of the disease.C-erbB-2 and PCNA protein assay can be used as an index of diagnosis and prognosis of the disease.
