Abstract
Nansha Reach of Guangzhou Harbor is located at the junction of the discharge from Jiaomen and Humen Outlets and the upcoming tide from Lingdingyang Bay,which have complicated the hydrodynamic conditions.The recent rapid development of the Jibaosha Reclamation Project has brought changes to the boundary and the hydrodynamic conditions.In order to analyze the impacts of those changes to the harbor,the mathematical models with the dynamic simulation have been developed to analyze the impact of the extension of the Jibaosha Area on the Harbor.Countermeasures are figured out to mitigate the negative influence of the sediment.
