Abstract
Aim To explore the antioxidative function of grape seed powder in human body. Methods There 120 health volunteers who meet the requirement were divided into test group and control group randomly according to contents of serum MDA.The persons in test group were orally given grape seed powder consecutively for 90 days.Contents of MDA,activities of SOD and GSH-Px and indexes of safety were determined 90 days after observation. Results The content of MDA in persons of test group decreased significantly(P0.01).The activities of SOD and GSH-Px in test group increased significantly(P0.01).All kinds of indexes of safety in the experiment did not change. Conclusion Grape seed powder possesses the antioxidative function in human body.
