EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON THE EFFECT OF CAPSULE OF GRAPE SEED ON ANTIOXIDATION OF HUMAN BODY

Abstract

[Objective]To observe the effect of capsule of grape seed on antioxidation of human body.[Methods]117 health volunteers aged from 45 to 65 were divided into test group and control group randomly according to contents of serum MDA. Contents of MDA,activities of SOD and GSH-Px and indexes of safety were determined at the end of 90 days.[Results]Contents of serum MDA in test group decreased significantly comparing with control group and were different between before and after test,the rate of descent was 4.90%;activities of SOD in test group increased significantly comparing with control group and were different between before and after test,the rate of increase was 12.44 %;activities of GSH-Px were not different between the two groups,all kinds of indexes of safety in the experiment did not change.[Conclusion]The capsule of grape seed has the effect on antioxidation of human body.
