Abstract
A p-chlorophenzaldehyde ethylenediamine schiff base has been prepared and characterized by IR,1HNMR and single crystal X-ray analysis.Its crystal structure shows that the title compound belongs to monoclinic system,Cc space group.The cell parameters are: a = 1.0343(5)nm,b = 1.0482(5)nm,c = 2.7137(12)nm,β = 91.791(10)o,V= 2.941(2)nm3,Z = 4,Dc = 1.379Mg·m-3,R1 = 0.0530,wR2 = 0.1322 [I2σ(I)].The synthesis method is simple and the productivity can reach more than 98%.
