Abstract

Objective To explore the expression and significance of VEGF、bFGF in oral squamous cell carcinoma.Methods Immunohistochemical staining was used to detect VEGF、bFGF in 10 normal oral mucosa and 30 oral squamous cell carcinoma(OSCC).Results The expression of VEGF、bFGF in OSCC was higher than that in normal oral mucosa(P 0.001 ).Conclusion The over-expression of VEGF、bFGF may play important roles in the development and progression of oral squamous cell carcinoma .The result will provide the data for angiogenic therapy of the tumor.
