Abstract

Objective To evaluate the diagnostic value of multi-tumor markers protein chip detective system for malignant tumor. Methods The multi-tumor markers protein chip detective system was used to detect the serum levels of 12 tumor markers(CA19-9,CA242,CA125,CA15-3,CEA,AFP,NSE,Free-PSA,PSA,β-HCG,FER and HGH)in 156 malignant tumor patients,98 patients with benign disease and 556 healthy persons. Results The positive rates were 78.84%,22.44% and 3.24% in malignant tumor patients, patients with benign disease and healthy persons. The malignant tumor patients had significantly higher positive rate than that of patients with benign disease and healthy persons(P0.01).Except for pancreatic cancer and prostate cancer, combined detection with multi-tumor markers protein chip detective system has higher sensitivity than single tumor marker testing for other 12 kinds of malignant tumors. Conclusion Combined detection with multi-tumor markers protein chip detective system can significantly increase the diagnostic sensitivity for malignant tumor and be used as a tool to detect tumor markers.
