Abstract
Aim:To investigate the expression of Cyclin G in breast cancer and its clinical significance.Methods:The expression of Cyclin G was detected by immunohistochemical SP method in 88 cases of breast cancer tissue and 40 cases of adjacent normal breast tissue,and its correlation with the clinical-pathological features was analyzed.Results:The positive rate of Cyclin G was 38.6% in breast cancer tissue and 2.5% in adjacent normal breast tissue,and there was significant difference between the two groups(P0.05).The over-expression of Cyclin G was not correlated with tumor size,histological grade and expression of P53(P0.05) in breast cancer tissue,but correlated with lymph node metastasis,menopausal status and hormone receptor status(P0.05).Conclusion:The over-expression of Cyclin G is probably correlated with the occurrence and development of breast cancer,and it can be servea as an index for the tendency of lymph node metastasis of breast cancer.
