The Protective Effects of Compound Hongcao Freeze-dried Powder Injection on Experimental Acute Myocardial Infarction in Anaesthetized Dogs in vivo

Abstract

ObjectiveTo investigate the protective effects of Compound Hongcao Freeze-dried Power Injection on experimental acute myocardial infarction(AMI) in anaesthetized dogs.MethodsThe model of acute myocardial infarction was established by occlusion of left anterial descending artery of myocardium in dogs,and the oayen supply,myocadial infarction area and the activities of LDH,CK in serum were measured. ResultsIn dogs treatment with Compound Hongcao Freeze-dried Powder Injection(in the dosage of 2.4,4.8 g/kg),the myocardium oxygen delivery,degree and of myocardial ischemia,myocardium infarction size,and the activities of serum CK,LDH significantly dereased in acute myocardial infarction dogs.ConclusionCompound Hongcao Freeze-dried Power Injection possesses the protective effect on myocardial ischemia.
