The Protective Effect of Xinmaikang Capsule on Myocardial Ischemia and Myocardial Infarction in Dogs

Abstract
Objective:To study effects of Xinmaikang capsule on myocardial ischemia and myocardial infarction of dogs.Methods:The dog model of acute myocardial ischemia and infarction was established by ligating left anterior descending coronary artery(LAD).The animals were given different doses of Xinmaikang capsule(were 0.4g/kg,0.8g/kg,1.6g/kg) by duodenum.The scope and extent of myocardial ischemia,the range of myocardial infarction,coronary blood flow,myocardial oxygen consumption and the activities of CK and LHD were observed before and after administration.Results:Xinmaikang Capsule could decrease The scope and extent of myocardial ischemia,the range of myocardial infarction,increase coronary blood flow,and decrease the myocardial oxygen consumption(P0.05).The level of serum CK and LDH were significantly increased with the ligature time going,while Xinmaikang Capsule could significantly inhibit the elevated of CK and LDH(P0.05).Conclusion: Xinmaikang Capsule can significantly improve myocardial ischemia and myocardial infarction.
