Abstract

[Objective] To observe the protective effects of xfzhyg on acute myocardial infarction in dogs. [Methods] Twenty-four dogs were devided at random into four groups: control group; xfzhyo group; low-dose xfzhyg group; high-dose xfzhyg group. The myocardial infarction size, the changes of myocardial enzymes(AST,CPK,LDH) and the changes of the myocardial ultrastructure were determined by using the acute myocardial infarction models of ligation of left anterior descending branch (LAD) in the anaesthetized open-chest dogs. [Results] The myocardial infarction size, the activity of blood serum AST, CPK, LDH and the ultrastructral injuries were decreased in acute myocardial infarction dogs treated with xfzhyg. [Conclusions] Xfzhyg has the protective effects on acute myocardial infarction in dogs.
