Abstract
Objective To modify the two-cuff technique in rat orthotopic liver transplan tation. Methods On the basis of the previous two-cuff-technique,120 cases of rat orthotopic liver transplantation were performed with modification of fast resecting the donor liver,two-stitch suturing suprahepatic inferior vena cavum and stoping bleeding with hot pin and so on. Results The time of operation was reduced, the 24 hours and 3 week survival rates were 96.7% and 94.2% respectively. Conclusion The modified methods shorten the operation time in rat orthotopic liver transplantation. It can enhance the stability and increase survival rate of rat orthotopic liver transplant models.
