Abstract
Objective To maintain the stability of rat orthotopic liver transplantation models effectively by improving the surgical procedures. Methods 110 cases of rat orthotopic liver transplantations were performed with the modified two-cuffed technique,and the effects of various perioperative treatment factors and surgical techniques on the survival rate and viability were observed. Result The 24 hours and 1 week survival rates were 91.8% and 87.3% respectively. Conclusion The modified two-cuffed method is convenient and easy to duplicated. It can enhance the stability and survival rate of rat orthotopic liver transplantation models.
