Abstract
Objective To develop an HPLC method for the simultaneous determination of chlorogenic acid and protocatechuic acid in Yinshanlian(traditional Chinese medicines) granules.Methods Chromatography was performed on a Diamonsil C18 column(200 mm×4.6 mm,5 μm) with the mobile phase of acetonitrile-0.2% phosphoric acid solution(V∶V=10∶90).The detection wavelength was set at 285 nm and the column temperature was 30 ℃.Results The linear calibration curve were obtained in the concentration range of 4.80-43.2 mg·L-1 for chlorogenic acid and 4.08-36.7 mg·L-1 for protocatechuic acid.The mean recoveries of chlorogenic acid and protocatechuic acid were 101.8%(RSD=1.0%,n=9) and 98.5%(RSD=1.4%,n=9),respectively.Conclusions The method can be used to control the quality of Yinshanlian granules,which provides the advantage of quickness,simplicity and repeatability.
