Determination of chlorogenic acid in Kanggan granules by HPLC

Abstract

OBJECTIVE To establish a HPLC method for determination of chlorogenic acid in Kanggan granules.METHOD A ZORBAX SB-C_ 18 column (4.6mm×250mm,5μm) was used with a mobile phase of methanol-1% phosphoric acid solution (25∶75).The detect wavelength was 327 nm.RESULTS The calibration curve was linear within the range of 7.5~120.0μg/mL (r=0.9999),and the average recovery of chlorogenic acid was 100.48%(RSD=1.2%).CONCLUSION The method is simple,rapid and accurate. It can be used for quantitative analysis of Kanggan granules.
