Significance of sublingual misoprostol in termination of early pregnancy in painless artificial abortion of prenatal and postpartum

Objective To investigate the clinical significance of sublingual misoprostol in termination of early pregnancy in painless abortion prenatal, post, in order to better guide clinical application. Methods A total of 112 cases of voluntary patients underwent induced abortion operation were treated from April 2012 to June 2013 in our hospital as the observation objects,and were randomly divided into observation group and control group,each group had 56 cases, observation group was given sublingual misoprostol in per-operation and postoperative; control group were not treated with misoprostol. The cervical dilatation,operation time, intraoperative bleeding volume,induced abortion syndrome and uterine contraction were compared between the two groups of patients. Results The general softening rate in observation group was 96.4%,was significantly higher than the control group(82.1%),the difference was statistically significant(P 0.05); The operation time, bleeding volume and the incidence of artificial abortion syndrome in observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group,and uterine contraction(2.65±0.32) cm was significantly larger than the control group(1.86±0.40 cm),the differences were statistically significant(P0.05). Conclusion Sublingual misoprostol in induced abortion per-operation and postoperative can relax cervical effectively,and can significantly reduce the amount of bleeding,shorten the operation time,strengthen the uterine contraction, reduce the artificial abortion syndrome, is conducive to the operation and is worth the clinical promotion.
