Abstract

Objective: To observe the effect of sublingual Misoprostol to expend cervical before the induced abortion. Methods: 200 cases of patients requesting induced abortion in early pregnancy from June 2009 to November 2010 in our hospital were randomly divided into control group(100 cases) and observation group(100 cases).Observation group were given sublingual Misoprostol 600 μg before the abortion, control group were given nothing.Degree of cervical dilation, operation time, blood loss and postoperative complications were observed. Results: The full expansion of the cervix in observation group sublingual Misoprostol, the success rate of which was 76%,the effective rate of which was 82%,the differences were significant compared with control group(P0.05).The operation time, blood loss and postoperative abortion syndrome were significantly lower than that of control group(P0.05).Conclusion: Preoperative Misoprostol has obvious expansion to cervical, with a significant role in reducing the loss of blood, shorten operative time, reducing the incidence of abortion comprehensive response, and is worth of promoting.
