Abstract
Objective To explore the value of nasal continuous positive airway pressure(nCPAP) in treating obstructive sleep apnea syndrome(OSAHS). Methods According to the efficacy of nCPAP, 76 patients with OSAHS were divided into treatment success group(n=50) and control group(n=26), and indices before and after treatment were analyzed. Results The longest and average apnea duration as well as the lowest oxygen saturation(SpO 2) increased, while apnea-hypopnea index(AHI) decreased (P0.01) in the treatment success group after treatment. Conclusion nCPAP may serve as the first choice for treating OSAHS.
