Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the efficiency of anti- hypertensive medicine amhined with nasal continuous positive airway pressure (nCPAP) on patients of hypertension complicated with obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS). Methods: Seventy-two cases of hypertension complicated with OSAHS were randomly divided into treatment group and control group(n=36). NCPAP and routine drug treatment were administed in the treatment group, while routine drug treatment was given in the control group. Blood pressure and parameters of sleep respiration in two groups were analyzed after six months. Results: SBP, DBP, PP, heart rate, apnea hypopnea index (AHI), maximum apnea duration and minimum pulse oxygen saturation were significantly improved in treatment group, compared to control group (P0.01). Conclusion: The antihypertensive medicine combined with nCPAP was an effective therapy in hypertension complicated with OSAHS.
