Abstract

After the structure improvement and the regulation of design parameters of the 465Q gasoline engine, the performance fueled with high methanol content M85 is measured. The experiment results show that the power and the torque of the 465Q methanol engine are higher than that of the gasoline engine, and the fuel consumption effeciency of the 465Q methanol engine is lower than that of the gasoline engine′s.
