Abstract

Objective:To compare and analyse the clinical effect on the patients undergoing hip replacement for which were given anesthesia and combined spinal-epidural.Methods :We selected 86 patients which were divided into A group(n=43) and B group(n=43),and then operated them general anesthesia with tracheal intubation or epidural anesthesia before surgery. Results :There was no difference between the two groups(P 0.05) ;After operation the number of group B patients was significantly less than group A( P 0.05) in developed deep vein thrombosis, lung infection, postoperative cognitive dysfunction. Conclusion :Both anesthesia and combined spinal-epidural anesthesia have a reliable effect on the patient undergoing hip replacement, but the latter is preferred to the former.
