Teacher Education Reform in the Background of Teachers' Profession

Teacher professionalization is the tread of educational reform. The profession of teachers is in the process of formation, which needs deepening. The paper begins with the dilemma of teacher professionalization at the present condition and then probes into its causes and some relevant ways. To improve the development requires adopting the idea of modern teachers profession; enlarging the decision-making power; establish an integrated teacher education system; establishing reasonable education courses and bettering teachers knowledge and ability.
