Teacher professionalization: Opportunity and Challenge for Our Country's Teacher Education Development

Teacher professionalization is the trend of the world teacher education development and the orientation of our country's teacher education reform. We must, in order to advance teacher professionalization , reform our current system of teacher education as following: realize teacher's lifelong education through setting up an integrative mode of teacher education; optimize the curriculum structure of teacher education under the guidance of teacher professionalization ; raise the teacher's academic credentials by improving teacher education mode; establish multilateral and opened educational system by breaking traditional teacher education system; combine the theory with practice by building professional development school.
