Abstract
Objective To evaluate the midazolam and propofol in the intensive care unit(ICU) sedation in Mechanical Ventilation patients in efficacy and safety.Methods Thirty cases of mechanical ventilation were divided into midazolam group and propofol group,15 cases for each group.Ramsay scores of drug were observed up to the time required for grade Ⅳ,before treatment and after lh heart rate(HR),respiration(R) and mean arterial pressure were measured(MAP).Results Onset time in propofol group was shorter than that in midazolam group(P0.01).Before and after the treatment HR,R and MAP had no significant changes(P0.05).Conclusion Midazolam and propofol sedation in the ICU is a safe and effective treatment.
