Observation of Jianpixiaoji decoction combined with chemotherapy on patients with advanced cancer

Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of Jianpixiaoji decoction combined with chemotherapy on life quality of patients with advanced cancer.Methods 62 patients with advanced cancer were randomly divided into two groups.Patients in two groups were given appropriate chemotherapy.And patients in treatment group were treated by Jianpixiaoji decoction.The clinical effect,traditional Chinese medicine symptoms scores,quality of life score,KPS score and adverse reactions were observed.Results The total effective rate in treatment group and control group were 37.50%,30.00%,respectively.There was no significant difference between two groups(P0.05).Traditional Chinese medicine symptoms scores,quality of life score and KPS score in treatment group were improved after treatment.Compared with those before treatment and after treatment in control group,there was obvious difference(P0.05).Incidence rate of decreased white blood cell count,decreased platelet count,nausea and vomiting in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group(P0.05).Conclusion Jianpixiaoji decoction combined with chemotherapy in treatment of advanced cancer can improve the effectiveness of chemotherapy to reduce chemotherapy-induced bone marrow suppression and adverse effects and improve clinical symptoms and improve quality of life and prolong survival.
