Protective Effects of Bupleurum Injection on Hepatic Injury Induced by Obstructive Jaundice in Rats

Abstract

Objective To explore the protective effects of Bupleurum Injection on hepatic injury induced by obstructive jaundice in rats.Methods Sixty rats were divided into 3 groups,the sham operation group,the bile duct ligation group and Bupleurum Injection group.Obstructive jaundice were made in rats by double-ligating bile duct in the bile duct ligation group and Bupleurum Injection group.Three groups of rats were sacrificed after 7 and 14 days of postoperation respectively.The levels of serum ALT,AST,TBIL and DBIL were tested.Results The group of Bupleurum Injection could decreased the levels of serum ALT,AST,TBIL and DBIL.Compared with model control group,there was significant difference(P0.05).Conclusion Bupleurum Injection has protective effects on hepatic injury induced by obstructive jaundice in rats.
