Abstract

Banana black spot is one of the main diseases of banana,50% Stroby DF is a new fungicide which shows obvious activity against Macrophoma musae.During 2003 to 2004,the result of tests in fields showed that 50% Stroby DF(1:2000) for three times after 20 days gave a control effect of 80.01% against Banana black spot.These results demonstrated that 50% Stroby DF had a better control effect against Banana black spot than 75% Chlorothalonil WP(1:800),and it was worthy to be popularized on the growing practice.
