Effect research of Tebuconazole & Prochloraz EW against banana black spot

Abstract

Banana black spot is one of the main diseases of banana in South China,and it happens all over the year.400 g/L Tebuconazole Prochloraz EW is a efficient fungicide from Maxim Chemical Israel,which showed specifically high activity against banana black spot.During 2006 and 2007,the result of tests in fields showed that 400 g/L Tebuconazole Prochloraz EW using 1∶1000 for 3 times gave a control effect of 80% against Macrophoma musae.These results demonstrated that 400 g/L Tebuconazole Prochloraz EW had a better control effect against banana black spot than 30% Armure EC(1∶2 000),it has been registered on banana against banana black spot already in 2009,and it was worthy to be popularized on the growing practice.
