Abstract
Chemicals, 25% Propiconazole (EC), and 25% and 15% Yemianjing (WP) were tried to control Banana Sigatoka Leaf Spot Disease caused by Cercospora musae Zimmerman in the field. The 15% Yemianjing (WP) was found to have a control efficacy of 86.54% (ditch application) and 88.76% (irrigation application) against the disease, averaging 87.65%, which was similar to that of the widely used chemical 25% Propiconazole at a 1: 1 000 dilution. It had a stable and long control efficacy and was safe to the growth of banana. The optimum application rate was 22.5 kg/ha.
