Abstract
The plantlets in vitro potato propagation were treated by MS medium containing 0, 5, 10, 15 and 20 mmol/L of Ca(NO3)2 for multiplicated. The effect on the in vitro growth of virus-free potato of different concentration of Ca(NO3)2 was compared. The results showed that MS medium containing 15 mmol/L of Ca (NO3)2 had significant effect on plant height of plantlets, and it was most suitable for growth of potato virus-free plantlets. And the propagation cycle was also cut down.
