Abstract

Objective To investigate the blood enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) antibody detection of Treponema pallidum clinical value. Methods Comparative analysis of two tests used to detect Treponema pallidum antibody positive rate and the different age groups measured by ELISA false-positive rates. Results All of 5 790 cases observed object selected, the application of ELISA to detect Treponema pallidum antibody(TP-Ab) positive,50 cases of the positive rate was 0.864%.The application of TPPA detection of Treponema pallidum antibodies in 49 cases, the positive rate was 0.846%(49/5 790).Miss two detection methods differ significantly(χ2=0.643,P 0.05).≥70-year-old group,ELISA was used to detect Treponema pallidum antibody positive rate was significantly lower than the 70-year-old group, the difference was statistically significant(P 0.05).Conclusion Transfusion enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay detection of Treponema pallidum antibody with better clinical value, with little difference between the TPPA,worthy of promotion and application.
