Abstract

Objective:To evaluate the method and the results of the transobturator vaginal tape inside out(TVT-O) for the treatment of female stress incontinence(SUI).Methods:In this study, 17 cases of SUI patients with average 56 years old (from 37 to 74 years old) were included. All the patients were undergone TVT-O procedure. The methods of this procedure and the outcomes and complications were closely analyzed. Results:The average operating duration was 30 min(from 20 to 45 minuts) and averae blood loss was 50 ml(30-80ml). With average follow-up of 7 month (1-13 months),14 patients were cured and 2 patients were improved.Conclusions:TVT-O for the treatment of SUI was a simple optimal and reliable method with less complications.
