Abstract

Objective To evaluate the methods and results of the transobturator vaginal tape inside-out(TVT-O) for the treatment of female stress incontinence(SUI).Methods The data of 37 cases of female stress urinary incontinence treated by TVT-O procedure from Sept.2007 to Dec.2009 were analyzed retrospectively. Results The average operating time was 36min(20~48minutes) and average blood loss was 38 ml(15~65 ml).All of the patients were successfully cured and normal voiding without complications was achieved postoperatively with average follow-up of 18month(5~30months).Conclusion TVT-O for the treatment of female urinary stress incontinence was simple and effective with fewer complications.
