Abstract
Objective To monitor the hospital infection on genotyping pseudomonas aeruginosa with randomly amplified polymorphic DNA(RAPD) assay.Methods Optimal reaction system and amplification condition of RAPD were used for genotyping of the 49 strains PA isolated from the clinical samples.Comparing the fingerprint to confirm the type and outbreak of PA hospital infection.Results Forty-nine strains PA were distinguished into 29 kinds of RAPD type,the typeability was 100%;taking one week as time limit,3 instances of outbreak of PA hospital infection were confirmed;7 instances in 9 of PA hospital infection were endogenous,and the other 2 instances were exogenous.Conclusion RAPD may be used in the molecular epidemiological study of PA.
