Expression and Clinical Significance of Surviving and Bax in Cervical Intraepithelial Neoplasia and Cervical Carcinoma

Objective To investigate the expression of surviving and Bax in cervical intraepithelial neoplasia and cervical carcinoma,and to explore the role of them in cervical carcinoma pathogenesis.Methods The exprssion of Survivin and Bax was detected with immunohistochemical method in situ in CIN and cervical carcinoma.Normal cervical tissues were acted as the control.Results The positive rates of Survivin protein in cervical carcinoma,CIN and the normal cervical tissues were 76.1%,45.8% and 0%,respectively.While the expression of Bax were 7%,39.8% and 75.0% in the above three groups(P0.05).The expression of Survivin in CIN Ⅲ was obviously more significant than those in CIN Ⅰ/Ⅱ.And the differences were obviously more significant in cervical carcinoma at stage Ⅱb-Ⅲ than those at stage Ⅰ~Ⅱa.The expression of Survivin in cervical carcinoma with lymphatic metastasisi was more significant difference than those with lymphatic metastasis.Negative correlation between Survivin and Bax protein was observed in cervical carcinoma.Conclusion The abnormal expression of Survivin and bax may participate in the occurrence and development of cervica carcinoma,and suggest malignant degree of tumor and patients' poor prognosis.
