Abstract
Objective To invetigate the present state of community health service of urban areas in Guiyang city and issues existed in community health service. Methods Totally, 63 community health service centers in Guiyang were interviewed with uniform questionnaire. Results There are altogether 13 urban hospitals,with a total of 8,464 beds and a total of 308 doctors and 268 nurses in 63 community health service centers. The ratio of primary, secondary and tertiay medical levels is 0.5: 3.7:1. The ratio of doctors to nurses is 1 : 0.89.Between output and input surplus is - 1, 285, 500 Yuan. Some community health services did not give wide publicity. Conclusion The health resources in our city are abundance but human resources structure in unreasonable. Community health services are unbalanced between output and input. Some community health services did not give wide publicity.
