Abstract
Objective To know the demand of senile patients with chronic diseases for community health services in urban areas of Guiyang city,the allocation situation of health resources of community health centers,and health resources utilization efficiency.Methods The questionnaire survey was conducted among the senile patients with chronic diseases to know their demand for community health services.And the data were analyzed and compared on health resources and services situation of the community health service centers which were offered by the municipal health bureau,community offices and community health service centers.Results(1)10.4% of senile chronic disease patients thought that they did not need community health services.Only regular physical examination accounted for a larger proportion in the chosen items(58.4%).Actually the patients who used to go to community health center only accounted for 20.3%.(2)The quantities of medical staff and beds in community health center were lower.The number of the staff who had junior college education or above was less.The members with elementary professional title accounted for a large proportion.The number of general practitioners was less.The annual per capita income,average person-number of outpatient service and annual per capita financial aid were below the levels of national average.Conclusion The senile chronic disease patients′ subjective demand for community health services is high in Guiyang city,the utilization of community health services is lower;The health resources of community health center is lacking,the structure of human resources remains to be adjusted,the use of health resources is inefficient,most of which being below the levels of national average.
