Clinical Observation of Warm Acupuncture Needling Combined with Traction on Lumbar Disc Herniation

Objective To observe the effect of warm acupuncture needling combined with traction on lumbar disc herniation. Methods96 cases of lumbar disc herniation were randomly divided into two groups. The treatment group treated with warm acupuncture needling and the control group treated with ordinary acupuncture therapy. The visual analogue scale( VAS) pain,JOA score,modified Mac Nab were used to evaluate the effect. Results Before and after treatment,two groups of VAS score decreased significantly and JOA score increased significantly( P 0. 01); the treatment group of VAS scores reduced more obviously and JOA score increased more obviously than that of control group( P 0. 05); the total effective rate of treatment group was significantly higher than control group( P 0. 05). Conclusion Warm acupuncture needling combined with traction on lumbar disc herniation has good effect,it can obviously improve the patient's symptoms and function.
