The Analysis of the Clinical Effect of the Acupuncture and Massage with Traction in the Treatment of Lumbar Intervertebral Disc Herniation

Objective: To analyze the clinical effect of the acupuncture and massage with traction in the treatment of lumbar intervertebral disc herniation.Methods: 182 old-age patients diagnosed with lumbar intervertebral disc herniation were divided randomly into two groups.Patients in integrated treatment group(91 cases) were treated by acupuncture and massage with traction.Patients in control group were treated by traction only.Symptom improvement and clinical effect were compared and analyzed.Results: After 3 weeks treatment,the total effective rate of integrated treatment group was 95.6%,which was 60.4% in the control group.the difference was statistically significant(P0.05).The FIM score of integrated treatment group is obviously improved compared than that of before.The FIM score of control group is significantly higher than before except the score of sphincter control and social communication.the result statistically difference(P 0.05).The improvement of integrated treatment group is obviously higher than that of the control group(P0.05).Conclusion:The acupuncture and massage with traction for the treatment of lumbar intervertebral disc herniation has less cost and better clinical effect.It should be recommended in the clinical application.
