Abstract
Objective To investigate the role of platelet activation and acute inflammation in the pathogenesis of Acute coronary syndrome (ACS). MethodsPlatelet activation factor CD62p,CD63 were detected by flow cytometry and the plasma C-Rective Protein (C-RP ) was measured by rate nephelometry in 50 patients with Acute coronary syndrome and 30 normal subjects. Results Platelet activation factor CD62p,CD63 and C-RP in patients with Acute coronary syndrome were significantly higher than those of the normal subjects(P 0.01); There were highly positive correlation between platelet CD62p,CD63 and plasma C-RP (r=0.428,r= 0.469).ConclusionPatients with Acute coronary syndrome show evidence of platelet activation and inflammation, which relate to pathophysiological process of ACS
