Abstract
Objective To investigate the changes and significance of CD40L expression in peripheral blood monocyte and platelet and CD62P expression in platelets in patients with acute coronary syndrome(ACS).Methods The CD40L expression in monocytes and platelets and CD62P expression in platelet were analyzed by indirect immunofluorescence flow cytometry.Results The expression of monocyte and platelet CD40L and platelet CD62P was significantly higher in ACS patients than that in healthy people(P0.01) and stable coronary heart disease patients(P0.05 or P0.01).Conclusions The results showed that the expression of monocyte and platelet CD40L and platelet CD62P was increased in acute coronary syndrome and they might represent a marker of plaque unstability.
