Abstract
A new method for the determination of trace bromine ion is described. The method is based on its minus catalytic effect upon KBrO 3 oxidize methyl orange. The molar absorption coefficient is 1 0×10 6 L·mol -1·cm -1. The linar range of the determination for bromine is 0.5 ~ 1.8 ng/mL.The method has been used for the determination of trace bromine in well water and salt with satisfactory results.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
